Several of mine are partially rusted. At this price it wouldn't pay to mess with them vs just replacing them. Think our coaches came with 6 though.

These are for outside compartment doors. Don’t think they would work on windows.

Didn't realize I implied I thought they were window catches; that's a different animal. All alum IIRC.

On my coach it seems it's the base portion (under the spring-loaded chromed catch part) that is rusting.

I bought these (off amazon) last year for the same price, they are identical to the ones that are already on my coach, still haven't installed them. I plan to add one for the hot water heater/furnace hatch and one each for my new passthru storage hatches.
