Loose Steering

Faerbairn Posted 2020-02-20 6:58 PM (#7177) Subject: Loose Steering Contributor Location: Benicia, CA Hi, I am new to the Forum. We bought a 1975 FMC a year ago and have only drive n it a few times. The engine runs great and we have been working on the systems & upholstery mostly. Driving over 35mph I start to feel the steering is loose allowing the vehicle to sway left or right and then I have to correct it and then it does it again the opposite direction over & over. It gets really crazy at 50mph +. Any suggestions what I need to look for and replace? Every mechanic I approach with the FMC does not know what to do about the brakes or the Steering.
