Is there a replacement for the master cylinder available? Anyone know the diameter of the M/C piston? Thanks for any information.

Yes and yes! To give you the correct master cylinder number we need to know if you have the large or small boosters. The BBC large boosters are 35” in circumference adjacent to the clamp ring. The small unit are several inches smaller.

Measure both of yours to determine what size they are and to confirm that they are both the same size.

I scored a deal at Rockauto on a Cardone 131583 which should also work according to Lou. They were on a 'Wholesaler Closeout' for $11.00. Got it in my hands so know it's a for real deal. Sometimes you win sometimes not so much.
