My headlight switch developed a quirk. Headlights OR tail lights, but not both. The switch is made by Cole-Hersee ( http://www.colehersee.com/ which is a good company to know about if you are a tinkering mechanic) and it is the model # 71042. It retails for $50.

Cole-Hersee claims that the switch was obsoleted 3 years ago even though it is still in their catalogue. They are not making it anymore and have none in stock. RVS has new ones for $60. Two other sources that claim to have them in stock are:

A fellow coach owner emailed me with the following information.

There is a CROSS REFERENCE LIST for parts used on Clark Cortez Motorhomes. According to this list the Neihoff DR131-B Headlight Switch is the same as the Cole Hersey #71042 Headlight Switch used in the FMC.

Also there is currently a Cole Hersey switch available on ebay should one be needed.
