We just bought our coach a few months ago now. The first thing we did was bring it to our mechanic to ahve him go thru it. The only issue really he hasnt quite fully repaired is the brakes. He bled them and we now have better braking but i still have to pump them quite a bit to get full braking power. I wonder how i can get the air over part to work as he has not been able to figure that part out. We plan on spending alot of money to restore and repaint our coach to enjoy it for years to come and fully functioning brakes would nice any help with this would be appreciated.

I am not sure what is meant by the "air over part". The stock system uses dual vacuum boosters to operate the brakes. One for the front and one for the rear. It is a bit of a challenge to get all of the air out of the brake cylinders. Usually a pressure or vacuum bleeder is needed to do it completely. If you go to this website, http://www.fmcmotorcoach.com/index.html , you will be able download all three manuals (Owners, Parts, and Repair) and also various service bulletins.

Parts and advice can be gotten from both RVS in CA and MCR in IL.

hemi351az We are far from being faint of heart just wanted to know if there was something we were missing as far as getting the brakes working at 100% is all.
BigRabbitMan tyvm for the advice funny enough i did read the manual just after sending the email and got it figured out and got the brakes back up to snuff one of the valves for the rear brakes had some gunk in it from sitting for so long i guess. Once again ty now on to the smaller repairs we want to do. Happy Travelling!
