(96.54.43.52) | Since buying our coach 2 yrs ago we've redone the brakes, all the clearance lights, alot of the electrical, replaced various parts. We have also gotten it painted and i will post the pics very shortly. We are now getting the engine rebuilt, we have the 474 detroit diesel just to be on the safe side. The one thing i would like to know is where i can get mirrors that will bolt right on and give me better field of vision and also where i can get new guages for our rig. Oh and then maybe find someone who can redo the dash for us our is quite beat up and thats the last thing to be done on the interior.

Location: Scottsdale, Aridzona (24.251.185.142) | It would help if you told WHERE YOU ARE ! , and what kind of mirrors you have now, and what gauges you have now. If you are the FMC owner in Australia, don't think I can help you. I'm really not familiar with the 474 Detroit Diesel. How many cylinders does it have ? is it a V type engine or an inline ? Location: Soquel, CA. (98.234.137.225) | I bought Ramco mirrors off of Ebay. You have to figure out the mounts, though. I fabricated adapters (fillers, really) that allowed me to use the curved Monaco mounts that came with them.
For dash, I just had mine refinished at an auto upholstery shop locally. I had to take the dash out and put it back in. Cost: $250 (black vinyl). The hard part was putting the dash back in. Took most of a day making sure everything hooked up properly and still worked. Not for the feint of heart, but still DIY do-able.
