This is NOT an auction but an estate sale wherein you can place your offer for the coach and the highest offor received will be the purchasing buyer. There is no bidding, just place your highest price and then see if you own the coach or not. To place an offer you need to either be at the sale location in Grand Junction, CO or call the head of the sale company at 1-970-242-2443. I spoke with Becky (lady handling the estate sale) yesterday and she's taking offers over the phone.
At this juncture I'm very 'stand-offish' on this. It's a long way from home and even if I could buy it for what I'd like to, it would require a big infusion of parts/labour just to get her rolling. As well, there doesn't seem to be much in the way of proof or documentation/verification of the mileage, what works, what doesn't or just how long since it's been used; too much of a 'rumor-has-it' flavor to this one for me. My pockets aren't deep enough I don't think for this one regardless of how tempted I am.
Sure looks good though. Dro-o-o-o-o-l-l-l-l...

Location: Victoria, BC. Canada | After speaking with Jackie @ RVS on Friday and learning that the last time they saw the coach was in 1984 when it had 27,000/mi on it I felt then that the mileage claims were a little stronger.
I did finally text her a bid and although I'm hopeful, I'm certainly not holding my breath ;-)
