Location: Ignacio Colorado		The torque should peak at 1,750 RPM. You want your cruising speed slightly above that RPM. So between 1,750 and 2,000 should be a good target.

Location: Cottage Grove, OR		... which means that you either use a six speed tranny or do something to change the gear ratio between the driveshaft and the ground.
