Len,

Do you know - or anyone else - if the speedo will work on a 74' coach? There's a guy here on on the Island that bought #509 off me a few years back and last I heard he needed a speedo.
Do you know if the odometer is working or not?
Let me know please; meanwhile, I'll get in touch with Najib and see if he still needs one.

Thanks,
Terry

I checked the parts manual and only one part number for the speedometer is shown which means that the same unit was used for all coaches.
It is found in Group 4, page 29.

Just tried to phone Najib and his number is NIS. Hope he's okay.
Sent him an email. Best I can do for now.

Terry,
I do know for sure that the speedometer/odometer functions properly, I took it for a test ride after it was delivered and it worked just fine.
Let me know if you make contact and he still needs it.

Morning Len,

Thanks for the info. Just noticed there's two temp-guages on the dash panel. Is one for the genny? Ha-ha!

If you'd be kind enough to quote me for both (package deal) the dash assembly and the ignition module assembly (USPS Ground, no rush please) I'd be right grateful.

Pls email me and I'll send you my address info.

My dash has a couple of minor holes in it and they are getting hard to come by.

Again, thanks for your time and trouble.

In the case of a malfunctioning speedometer, one has to also consider if it is the sending unit back in the engine compartment as they function as a pair. All of this is after the cables from the transmission to the sender are ruled out.

Second temp gauge is for engine oil temp.

Hey Len, will you REMOVE the pictures of parts that you have sold . . . or better yet indicate that "that" part is no longer available ?
Pictures are good to reference even it is gone!
Thx, Lou #120

Lou,
In every case where the part has been sold I had already indicated that with a "sold" comment. Anything else needed?

Those wheel center caps are originally from 80's Dodge and Plymouth "K" cars. I have a few but I would bet knowing what to look for will help find one in better shape than mine. If not I have one.

I'll have a pair of extras if someone needs a pair.

Hey Len,
How are you going to hold them on to the FRONT ALCOAS only ?
I tried an O-ring but didn't trust it on a bouncing wheel.
Where did you buy the CLIPS that were used to hold them to the Valiant wheels that they were made for ?
Please share pictures of your attachment method.
Thx, Lou #120

These caps were pressure fit to the car wheels. The ones that came on #100 use a couple of trim clips to take up the gap with the Alcoa wheels. I'm sure I have some on those caps to compare if needed.

The ones I already had have the small clips as well, I plan to see if I can find something similar to use with these new ones. I'm sure I'll be able to find something that will work.
