I just got this motorhome and it is in much worse condition than expected. Will likely part it out or sell as is for parts.
Windshield and rear glass in good condition. Have not tested any of the appliances.
Parting it out will recoup more of my money, but getting it out of here is worth something to me. Engine/ trans condition unknown.

Make offer if interested.

Here is an update on the coach. Roof top air is good. cools nicely with no problems. Fridge also works well. Seems to be a household fridge and is quite large for a motorhome.
Wiring is going to require a lot of work and head scratching. Bathroom will need to be gutted and start from scratch..
I will try to evaluate the engine in the coming days.

Okay, I have had this thing for a while now and am getting ready for a new project. I had some health issues that put this one on hold for a while and am running out of time to get something going for the upcoming ski season. If I had more room I would keep this for a longer term project.
So here what I have; it's a bus conversion, so it has the disc brakes and Allison 4 speed. I haven't got the engine running yet. Had it fire a few times but that is all. I put a HEI all in one ignition on it. When I turn it slowly by hand I hear some nasty sounds. The engine may need to come out for a complete going through. I don't have the experience or the equipment for that. As mentioned earlier, the roof AC is good. I haven't put water in the tank, but I hear the pumps when I throw the switches. Fridge is good, Don't know about the propane stuff as the tank is empty and I can't drive it to a filling station. Lights and interior lighting work.
Lot's of stuff is currently stripped off the engine....radiator, compressor, a/c compressor, power steering pump and brake booster. Oh yeah, rear bumper and spare tire/holder and water pump are also off the vehicle. These things are here, just not installed at present.
I'd take $1000 for it. If anyone is interested send me a text to; 219-805-1030. You could call, but I may not answer...I usually don't if I don't recognize the number.

Given your description, in my opinion, what you have is a parts coach at this point. There are running, driveable coaches that need some work that periodically come up in the $5-7,000 range so unless someone really wants al transit unit this one is a parts coach. Do you or does someone you know in the area have a spot where it can be put up on blocks and parts sold over time? The disc brake setup, the torsion bars, the front spindles, etc. are all parts that are periodically needed by others.

Good luck with whatever you end up doing.

It's in Portage, IN. We are right at the southern tip of lake Michigan.

Got it running yesterday! Well, started anyway. I still have to install all the parts I removed. I would still be interested in selling it, but the price will rise as condition improves..

Have made good progress on the project in recent days, and it looks like I will keep it until the upgrading is complete. The current plan is to get it in good enough shape to use for my ski trips to MI and CO, then sell in the spring. It's way larger than what I need, but it does have appeal!
