I sold my original prop shaft to Lee Shafer, he monitors the Yahoo board, not sure if he'd let it go or not.

Rico, what happened to your driveshaft? I possibly can direct you to a rebuilder in Houston that can repair and balance, custom fit or build one if you are doing a drivetrain swap.

the shop could make it for my future nightmare project....
ours still good and working.

All those parts are still available new from spicer. You just need to do some research on the yoke shaft and slip yoke part numbers. There is no fabrication required, they are off the shelf parts. It may be that the yoke shaft could be trimmed in length a little or that a shorter version is available to purchase. Places like CCI driveline handle the wing type spicer parts.

Hey Lenny. Speaking of drive-line mods, don't recall if you posted that you moved your Rockwell diff forward during your diesel conversion? They say they could be moved forward 2" or so to make room for an overdrive or longer engine etc.

Just curious if you moved yours and how big of a deal it was?

Wondering what the maximum truly is you could move one of these things without compromising the prop-shaft service life?
