Subject: Speedo cable hook up

Does anyone know where the speedo cable hooks up the motor/tranny ? When I bought my FMC it was already dismounted, but I can not find where it mounts so I can get my Speedo working. Guesstimating can get you on the wrong side of the law while traveling. I thank you.
