Happy New Year All,
Does anyone have any of the old brake shoe lying around that are in your way? I am currently in contact with East Coast Brake trying to see if that can and or will reline the shoes since they are no longer available. Thank you.

Hey Chip,
If no FMCer gives up their used brake shoes, that they happened to save . . . you could lay up one of your THREE FMCs (#471#721#934), and send that set out for reline . . . and then put those on the one you want "new brakes" on. Just a suggestion. Lou #120

I checked out this way and Drivetrain industry in Denver and Colorado Springs will re-line the shoes. Park brake shoes too. Seems like they have a place in Albuquerque also.
Cores for shoes that are no longer available are going to be pricey. Kind of like the long water pump with the grease fitting.
