interior shot of the storage door, this is where I'll stow my shore power cable.

It will be nice when the whole coach has it's finish restored. I forgot to get a picture of the spray foam installation before I put the panel back on, I'll get one of the other side.

Fuel fill relocated 2" down and 1" back to clear the new storage door, can't tell it was ever moved.

I could only do the outside on the rear but it got a full length weld and is going nowhere..

I hope I never have to take this off...the plasma torch would be my only option..

Every bit that could be welded got some

This is the most critical of the install, all the load is bore here. I got about 48" of weld on in this area so it should be rock solid.

I'm real happy with the tight fit up. 1.5" square tube was the perfect size, I used a combo of .190" and .120" wall to get the strength but not so much weight.

Drivers side support assembly installed

sure goes quicker when you have a 3D drawing to follow

It's a lot faster to work in wood and at only $1.80 for an 8ft stick its cheap to do. This will save me a lot of time when it comes to the finish product in steel square tube. It will also help me map out the cut lengths to keep scrap to a minimum.

Mock up design of new frame structure in wood 2 x 2's. The opening for the pass thru storage complicated the a rear upright geometry so I'm just going to double up on the tube for that diagonal.
