One of my coaches had paperwork that tells me it ran a set of headers. Don't throw away your exhaust manifolds because after RVS sold them the headers they sold them a set of $400 each manifolds to replace the burned out headers. Have you checked into the low style exhaust manifolds. Not for performance but for longevity of the valve cover gaskets.

Everyone needs to realize that anything you learned about hot rods went out the window when you bought a 15,000 pound house on wheels. Headers are going to heat the air going into the radiator more than the cast iron manifolds. If you use heat wrap they will rust out. More, more, more no longer works in the realm of a house on wheels, except for $$$

I have photos in the albums. If I did it right the link should take you right there. If not look at albums for B.Sitton then low manifolds. To find them you look for 1976 to about 1981 class C dodge motorhomes with the big block, or dodge vans with the big block engine. You only find one manifold per donor, on the drivers side. So you have to get lucky twice to get a set. Also the spark plug heat shields are sometimes missing and are almost impossible to find by themselves. There should be a heat shield on the starter with these manifolds. Also get the flange that attaches them to the exhaust pipe. Depending on which power steering pump you have some return line relocation may be necessary. In the pictures you will see I used a brass fitting in the power steering reservoir for the return. This was just for the mockup and was replaced with a different reservoir that had a better fitting installed. The brass fitting has too much restriction. The exhaust system has to be fitted for a tapered flange instead of the flat flange with the gasket. I used thick copper gaskets to mount them to the heads, they have no gasket to burn out where they attack to the pipes. When I switch over to the 413HT top end I will have the set that is pictured available. That might be soon, I want to have that done before the Rally at Red Oak this summer. I have another set but do not have all the shields for them.
