The above information was received today as a post to the "Comment" button on the front page of this website.

As we all know, RVS (Recreational Vehicle Service) has be a major contributor to the continued roadability and history of FMC motor homes. 

Jim and Jackie Black will be missed.

(64.134.67.31)		I spoke with Jim Black yesterday, he tells me that it is possible that the FMC inventory will be purchased by the FMC club. We all need to make an effort to get involved so that what he started will continue.

(64.134.67.31)		I didn't really think that I should ask about the cost of the takeover, I was just inquiring about some parts and wanted to have a friendly conversation with Jim. I'm new at this and working on my coach (#639) so I just asked some technical questions and wished him well

The club is NOT going do "a takeover".  The club is not in a position to become a parts distributor.  Way too many complications for that to happen.  There is a possibility of some coach owners doing something, but it is way too early to be discussing it.  Jim added his own interpretation to what little has actually been discussed.

That is not to say that at some point FMC coach owners may be able to assist in the continuation of the FMC heritage.

(64.81.64.95)		I just called there today and got the 'disconnected number' response from the phone co. Any news on a potential new owner? I live about 20 mi. North of RVS. Think I'll take a drive down in the next few days and see what's happening at the facility. I'm sorry to hear that Jim and Jackie are moving on.
