Contributor | Looking to buy. ssgtmike1966@hotmail.com I am interested in buying a FMC. Would like to see one up close first. If anyone is in the area of Interstates 80/81 and would allow me to see their rig it would be great. Thank You!!! Mike ssgtmike1966@hotmail.com

Elite Veteran ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Oceanside, CA | The only one I've ever seen that I found interesting on you half of the country was this one: https://westernmass.craigslist.org/rvs/5902781204.html It's steeply priced but appears to be very well cared for. No idea how far that is away from you. It's been on the market a long time so the price may be fairly flexible. My general advice to you is to buy a coach that has lived in the southern/western part of the country to avoid structural/suspension rust damage. Are you looking for a turn key or project coach?

Expert ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Cottage Grove, OR | I agree with Len about the potential rust issues from northern coaches, but some were never driven during the winter so do not have rust issues even though they are up north in the "rust belt". This one does seem to have some upgrades such as a built in bedroom TV, bunk bed on the driver side, and possibly a few other things. I agree that the price is higher than most.

Extreme Veteran ![]() Location: Scottsdale, Aridzona | Wouldn't it be better to leave FMCs between Buyer and Seller ? I don't think any of us are Certified or Licensed Brokers or Appraisers. There is a LOT ON INFORMATION and PICTURES available here and on the Yahoo FMC website to inform any Buyer what FMCs are about. I would hate to mess up some FMC Owners Sale with a misplaced comment, as I would also hate to mistakenly lead some Buyer into some FMC that may not meet their EXPECTATIONS. I support any FMC Owner any way I can. Caveat Emptor. Lou #120

Elite Veteran ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Oceanside, CA | I think if someone ask for input then it's a "no harm, no foul" situation. Injecting commentary when not solicited, or getting in the middle of an active deal is "hands off". I think my comments were right on, that coach is steeply priced, but, that doesn't mean it isn't worth every bit of it. A really well cared for, inside stored coach would save thousands in restoration/repair cost.
