Location: Canton, (Sixes) GA | It was a little over three years ago I decided to replace the 6" fan in the bathroom with a 14" Fan-Tastic fan that was pulled off when roof air was installed. The unit was in pretty bad shape. Called Fan-Tastic and they send me an complete upgrade kit to a 600RBTA. The fan runs a lot, I keep it on except for cold weather. I noticed last week that the cover was not lowering during a rain shower. Called FF and they sent me a new sensor strip for the top and a new control board. Opps.. the control board did not fit. Called back and they sent me a complete lower half, no charge. The only thing origininal is the motor and fan, they are pretty old but work well. Sure like the way they do business. I have switches, thermostat, lift motor, lift aim, pop screen etc if anyone wants them.

Location: Cottage Grove, OR | They have excellent support for their product. I had an automatic one start going up and down erratically. Sometimes yes, sometimes no, sometimes up and down. I got up on the roof and looked at the sensor strip. Looked a little dirty. Took a wet kitchen sponge and cleaned it off and everything went back to working properly. When they are open a lot, the strip can collect dust as it is flat. That messes with the proper condutivity of the surface when it gets wet.
I have a few extra parts as well from when they have sent me more parts than I requested just to ensure I had the correct one. |
