What is the correct length for the stock hose? I took the part # from the FMC repair list to the parts store and received a Gates that was about 19" long (Gates#22039). Mine is only about 14.5" and has one bend (4"from motor). Not sure if I have a custom hose or they gave me the wrong part. Thanks!

I don't know about the part number issue, but what you can do is take your old one with you to the parts store and they can probably match it based on its measurements. One other option is to do as I did to find hoses for my conversion project was to just look over all of the many hoses the freiendly parts house had hanging on the wall until i found what i need as to diameter and bends. I then trimmed and cut to the length needed.

If the hose they gave you is the correct diameter and has the correct bend(s), can you just cut some off of one or both ends to achieve the correct fit? It is possible that is what FMC did originally.
