While we sus out the weird brake problem and the front tires are removed, I'd like to ask about the front suspension. I know FMC used the "permanately lubricated" fittings that were popular then, like the Mercedes.

I see only one zerk at the top of the forward A-arm. Are there any others?

Is the only fix to buy new plastic or is there a procedure for tapping the other moving parts and inserting zerk fittings?

Is this a home project or only a machine shop should do it?

BTW - never got an answer as to what brand/model shocks the front uses. I prefer Bilsteins, but if I can get a brand/model, it can be cross-referenced.

THX.

The parts book references the front shock for your coach as Gabriel # 665148.

MCR replaced mine with heavy duty one way shocks 3 years ago (>20,000 miles). When I feel the need to replace, going to give a serious look at the new Road King Shocks..
