I see in my manual it says to use Champion J11Y spark plugs. Whats the best alternative spark plug version to use now?

Thanks Henry,
It had Autolite 13's in it and the person at NAPA kept looking at it, looking at me, looking at it, all confused, asking what its from, still more confusion. I finally told him " i'll figure this out myself". I wasn't sure anything he gave me would be correct. Automate 13 was an absolute number also.

The 86 is for the large spark plug 13/16" to replace a Champion J11Y.   I use the Autolite 86 in all of my 440's that have the electronic ignition.  Work better than platinum.  For the smaller, I cannot remember the Autolite equivalent.  The smaller plug 5/8" is in the industrial engine.  I have a new set of them in one of my coaches, but I will not be at my garage until tomorrow.

i see on Ebay a set of champion J11Y they have a gasket seat but the autolite 13 i pulled out has a tapered seat. What's up with that, which style should be in the 440?

I have been using autolite 23's. If you just let them give you the "right" plugs for a 440, they will be the wrong plugs.
