Well, the time has come for me to start preparing to install a Captain's Chair for the wife in place of the original seat with the flip forward/back seat. My coach was originally a J model, but was remodeled to have a U shaped dinette when the passenger seat is flipped to the rearward faceing mode. I want keep the L shapped portion of the dinnette that will remain. I will need to relocate the fresh water tank that is under the seat and the converter that is also there. My other fresh water tank is under the bottom of the U parallel with the outside wall. I should be able to move the tank (or secure a new one) to the rear leg of the U dinette or just carry less fresh water. I need to look at possible locations for the converter. My initial thoughts are under the sink with a mounting bracket/shelf being constructed. At that location it is still close to the domestic batteries. Next would be the selection of the actual chair to install. I know that they come in a 24 inch width which is about as large as can be installed in my estimation. It would face to the front and rotate a little over 90 degrees to the left to face the driver and possibly a little more. The remaining portion (the part parallel with the side wall) of the U shaped dinette would block further rotation. I welcome everyone's thoughts. Converter location? Water tank?
