Veteran ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Oslo Norway | Now that the large shipment of parts for #477 is on its way it’s time to start searching for some more items. I’m looking to buy: Orange acrylic folding bathroom shower door. (#477 has one, but two of the sections are damaged if anyone has had this door and changed it back to a curtain, I could use it even if some sections are poor or damaged) Two plastic air ducts for the dashboard heater. Original kitchen countertop garbage bin. Original blender. Original wood/wool window blinds. Does not need to be in perfect condition, I can restore them and probably will do so any way. Original bathroom window curtain (white with orange) I might also be interested in a good condition original drivers seat (burnt orange color theme) And if someone has any advice as to where I might find the following I really would appreciate it. Orange original or similar style orange shag carpet. Any information on a supplier would be appreciated. Same goes for the burnt orange velvet style fabric for the bedroom upholstery? (What is the right name in English for this fabric chenille, velvet or something else?) Chrome or ss wheel hub covers to use with the Alcoas. Thank you Kjetil

Veteran ![]() Location: Kingsley Michigan | Kjetil- Hve you checked "Tin Can Tourists", a group for the restoration and use of vintage travel trailers and motorhomes? If you Google them, and go to their site, they have a listing under "restoring" of folks who deal in vintage fabrics, etc. as well as their links. Hope it helps. BTW--your web site looks terrific!! Can I print of some of the references you have from different magazines for us to share when we travel? Can't wait to see your unit complete!! Connie #801

Feel free to print out what ever you like from www.fmcmotorcoach.com I'm trying to arrange for me and my two sons to come over and visit the big rally in June, and If I do I can bring with me some of the originals. I also have a few spare originals as listed on my page if someone has anything to swap. Stay cool

Contributor Location: Napa Ca. | Hi Kjetil, How did you ship your FMC? I see it was in California San Francisco at one time. Did it go out on a "flat-rack" ... I ask because I export collector cars and I have guys in Sweden and Norway asking about sending RV's Trailers and Big Trucks. I load containers myslef up to 5 cars in one container. I have a Kenworth here that I will load INTO a container this summer.. But not sure about RV loading..... Yet... Regards, Rod

Veteran ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Oslo Norway | Hi Rod Most cars from the US to Europe go on RoRo Ships (roll on roll of). So did #477. I drove it myselves from Illinois to Port of New Jersey. If you can load in container you will be better off, because damage and stealing from cars on RoRo's is a very common problem. Kjetil
