Has the Yahoo site crapped-out again or been hacked or something?
Can't get into it.

Guess it likes you Jim. I'm still blocked or something? Says I might have my cookies turned off that's causing the problem. I haven't touched any of the settings.

Yes, a love-hate relationship. It loves me and I hate it :-). Usually I tell folks with a problem like that to try a different browser. Your probably using IE, which is historically, traditionally, crap.

Download latest Firefox and see what happens. It's a superior browser in all cases.

Regards!

Nope, I use Firefox too.

My geek nephew warned me about IE long ago.

Cheers,
Terry

I got an E-mail the other day telling me I needed to reset my Yahoo password. So far I'm ignoring it, things seem fine kinda fishy you ask me.

The site used to log me off after a few days if there was no activity. I'd simply re-enter my passwd and then was good to go.
This time was different; it was unable to connect with the site, almost like an error code.

It's finally working again for me.

I'm looking forward to either a new site, or, a refocusing on this one as the only one, perhaps with easier access to newbie's and guests.
Not that it's particularly inaccessible now, I mean hell - ya all put up with me on here! :-0

This, the FMC Owners Club website, is open for all to visit. Anyone can access the site as a "guest" and view all of the forums, photos, etc. To be able to post comments in the forums or pictures in the album area one only needs be a Registered User. The process is simple and the same as many other websites. If someone wants to register, they can just click on the "Log in" button on the front page and it will bring up the instructions to register. The registration will be put on hold until approved by a site moderator/administrator.

Once a person does that, an email is sent to the site moderators and when the registration is approved, an email is then sent back to the new person with a temportary password and they are then good to go.

Those restrictions add work for the moderators, but are necessary to control spammers.

I do reccommend that people go to the "My Settings" area (button at the top right) and do a "global subscription" and then the site will send you a notification of all new posts with a link to the post.

Come to the Rally in Carthage and we can discuss options for the new site.  It is in process but the volunteers that are doing it also have many other things happening in their lives that have taken the higher priority position for their time for now.
