I am looking for a replacement gearshift knob. Mine came loose on my trip last summer and I put it in a safe place inside my coach where it would not get lost. You guessed it - now it is so safe that I cannot find it!

Let me know if you have an extra one and what you would like for it. If none is available, at some point I will start carving one out of some nice hardwood that I have here at the house.

Thanks,

Actually, it did! Still does, BUT that only works to shift up and down AFTER it is mechanically put into a range position. There are always those "buts"!!! I do have some nice maple and/or cherry wood that could make a nice shifter knob. I think I also have a bit of cypress left as well. Not sure which one would be best to use. The harder woods have nicer grains but (there's that "but" again) are more difficult to work with.

Stephen, you best find your secret hiding places before you get diagnosed with "sometimers". Make a note of your special hiding spots as you use them. I see a pattern here!
