Location: Medford, OR | They are also saying "4 wheel disk brakes"...? Is that possible? Looks like a good start/project for someone, especially after you get the price down a bump. Build yourself a custom wood front bumper! |

Location: Cottage Grove, OR | Yes, all of the transits were factory equipped with disc brakes on all four wheels. A number of other coaches have been converted to either two or four wheel position disc brakes. The interesting part to me the word "recently". In past years the brakes from decommissioned transits were primarily used. I wonder what the source of parts was for this unit. |

Location: Soquel, CA. | If it is true it was done "recently", that would be significant info. My coach has the disc brakes on the front and I am pretty sure they were originally from a transit (but don't know 100%). Been trying to figure out the part numbers. |

Location: Cottage Grove, OR | Scott responded and pointed out that he did NOT indicate that the brake conversion was done "recently". That interpretation was apparently my error. The "almost new" words in the ad referred to tires and not brakes! I guess I was just hoping. Sorry folks. |
