# 400 Drive shaft alignment

The MARK-I version on the left and in previous photos was hastily fabricated with little consideration for ease of reproduction.


The bulletin calls for alignment within 1/16th inch. Tools must be adjusted to equal length. (Face of flange to tip.)


RVS-001 refers to a tool for the trans./diff. alignment. The tooling built for #400 is a bit crude but effective. (At least the vibration went away!)

The Yahoo F M C Group site has a RVS bulletin (#001) outlining driveline assembly and proper alignment of the transmission and differential. The copy is a bit fuzzy but readable.
