This album will show both the loads I attach and the modifications to the hitch/braking systems to make that work.

Receiver as it currently is, I inset it to the existing structure.

This shows the open structure that connects the two frame rails. This entire structure will be "boxed" top and bottom, and the attachment to the frame rails will be improved.

Single receiver set up now, will become a 3 receiver configuration when I'm done with it.

As part of the scooter lift I swapped in a 7 blade plug to carry a bit more power than the existing 6 pin.

My scooter carrier is a modified mobility scooter/wheel chair carrier

folds up nice when not in use

it easily lifts my 260lbs kymco like scooter

the lift has a build in "tilt back" fully up position

plenty of elevation in the lifted position but I have to deal with the flex of both the lift and the receiver structure with this amount of tongue weight, it's something that I've seen in previous uses of cycle carriers so it wasn't a real surprise.

3 receiver hitch fabrication complete

I've added 2400lbs RWM skid casters for a little protection for "off camber" situations. I got a good deal on buying individual casters, one with composite wheels, one with steel wheels and just mixed the two. About $100 total for the pair which is $100 cheaper than buying a matched set..

rear structure has been extended the full width of the coach
