Here is 669 as it sat for the last 20 years.

Just waiting for a ride from Ventura, CA to Henderson, NV

Really nice inside.

I like the extra width on the curb side bed. Have to see if we leave it that way or go the queen bed back there.

2006 donor didn't have a straight panel anywhere.

Too bad it is a 4x4 but the LBZ's are tough to find with decent miles. The change to 2wd shouldn't be too bad.

Here's the Allison with the transfercase and tailshaft off. Not too tough but you need to stand the trans on the bell housing when you do this. Too difficult to keep everthing in line otherwise. Used a tail from a Kodiak truck that had the parking brake on the housing.

Motor locating fixture. Easy to roll around and each corner can be lifted independently. The low overhead should make this fixture worth the time involved in the build.

I actually modified this fixture from a prior project.

Motor and genset out but lots of 'junk' still in the way.

Did a little cleanup of old brackets that won't be used. Still more to remove on curb side.

When you change tailhousing on the Allison medium duty you loose the trans mount. GM uses a bracket which is a bit hard to find so I just built my own. I think Len did the same on his swap, not a big deal.
