A bit going on here. The Ramco mirror mounts needed a bit of reshaping to fit. The side LEDs are a simple bolt in job but are a bit more modern. The water fill had to move as the real estate where it once resided is now occupied buy the remote master cylinder reservoir. Besides being a leak potential where FMC located it.

Found some LED headlights that looked ok and didn't break the bank. The center white stripe will be for daylight running lights on the high beam side and the outside will flash with the turn signals. The difference in light output is amazing.

Mounted they sure make the rest of the paint look bad.

Cleaned up and ready to install. I'll be running seperate backup lights (as soon as I find some I like). The sequencer on the lights should generate a few remarks.

Here's a look at the back side. I needed resistors to keep the flasher happy and the small rectangular box is the sequencer.

I used JB Weld to attach these to the rear fiberglass. The bolt is flush with the FG and gives a bit of adjustment.

Found some LED's for the rear. Used some scrap aluminum for a bracket to replace the OEM plywood mount. Needed to recess the bolts so the mount will sit flush.

Have started on the wiring. This is looking at the bottom of the rear fuse panel. Integrating the donor steering column into the equation really complicates the job. The dash fuse panel will also be installed up front with the body control module. Wish me luck.

Ended up relocating the primary trans cooler. It was just too tight below and with the added swinging door support so move it did. You can see both rear opening doors in this shot also.

With the wider and somewhat lower radiator it was necessary to open up some more air ways. I cut an extra two rows just below the existing and widened the lower valance with additional vents. The new location for the exhaust is also visable. Lots of time involved here as new bracing was needed as I made the louvered section behind the radiator swing out like the drivers side door.

Nice to have things going together for hopefully the last time. Lots of radiator in this shot.

Inside face of the insulation.
