 Have to take a moment to praise my idea to use my 3-ton floor jack as my heavy-lift buddy on this work. The interchangeable lift-foot is mounted on a 2" dia. post that sticks up a few inches. I took a 2" forstner bit and bored it about 3" deep into this 6 by 6 block. Had one ready with a 2' by 2' pc of plywood screwed onto it also. Turned out to be real handy. | ||
